Google Analytics Statistics Report

You can now access Google Analytics data within Cascade for your site. These reports provide a quick overview about how your site and its pages are performing. The options and metrics available for these reports are outlined below.

An Analytics widget is also available for your dashboard so that you can quickly see views or users for your site at a glance. If you manage multiple sites, you can add additional widgets for each site.

  • Open Your Report
    1. Select your site.

    2. From the System Menu in the upper right corner of your screen, select Reports.

    3. From the Reports page, select Google Analytics Statistics.

  • Navigating Your Report
  • Dimensions and Metrics Defined
    • Views represent the number of views to a page or site.
    • Sessions represent the number of sessions logged on your site. Users who visit your site multiple times will log multiple sessions.

    • Users are the number of active users who visited and engaged with your site (for 10+ seconds or 2+ views).

    • Engagement Rate represents the percentage of engaged sessions on your site (for 10+ seconds or 2+ views).

    • Average Engagement Time is the average length of time that a user has the website in focus on their browser.

  • Filter Results

    You have the option to filter the results that appear on your report by site and by time interval.

    • Simply select Filter Results from the upper right corner of your site’s Analytics report.

    • From the Site dropdown menu, you can select any other sites with which you have access and view their report.

    • Form the Interval dropdown menu, you can choose to look back on the last day, week, month, or year of data. You cannot select specific dates from this menu.
