Landing Page
Landing pages often consist of one or more promotional images followed by row(s) of information (announcements, news, events, etc.) related to your campus unit.
All pages have an area to enter the Display Name, Title and a required H1 (or Header 1) for the page. The Landing page also consist of two additional sections: the Lead Media and the Row Sections. Each of these sections offer many different content options.
Lead Media
The Lead Media section gives you options for how you would like to display an image at the top of a Landing Page. Default is the most common option, allowing copy to appear to the right of the image and for a Call to Action (CTA) button to be programmed beneath the copy. The Basic option displays the image at the full width of the screen and does not allow for a CTA.
The Carousel option works much like the Default option but allows for multiple images to be programmed. Please note that the images will not automatically rotate. Visitors to your site will have to click on the arrow buttons to toggle between images. We do not typically recommend this option for any critical information you need to display on your site.
Row Types
Rows can include feedable content (events, stories) and promotional content (announcement, ribbon, administrative or gateways). Each row type has additional options specific to its type, ranging from Call to Action buttons to varying background colors and patterns.
The landing page can consist of one or many rows. To add additional rows to the page, select the plus icon in the upper right corner of the row from the Edit screen. To copy a row, select the copy icon in the upper right corner.
